Responsibilities

• Lead and perform repairs and maintenance on heavy and medium-duty fleet
• Serve as the subject matter expert for diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Develop and manage a proactive preventative maintenance program

• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient shop
• Provide management with updates on repair trends, delays, and fleet readiness

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years medium and heavy duty repair experience

The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of construction machinery, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and backhoes, to perform tasks such as digging, grading, trenching, and material handling. This role supports site preparation for construction projects by following project plans, ensuring precision in excavation work, and adhering to safety standards. Key Responsibilities

This is a vital role ensuring safe and accessible properties during snow events. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and ready to respond 24/7 when weather conditions demand.

• Operate wheel loader with pushers and other heavy equipment to clear snow and ice from commercial parking lots, roadways, and traffic areas, including salting and other winter maintenance as assigned.
• Load, push, move and stockpile snow efficiently and safely in designated snow storage areas.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely and efficient service.
• Follow company safety procedures and customer requirements.
• Perform pre & post-trip inspections on equipment and report any issues.

The Heavy Equipment Operator/Foreman is a hands-on leader who is responsible for leading their field crew in daily operations, ensuring all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project schedules, company standards, and client expectations. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes pride in their work, recognizes problems early, provides solutions and is accountable for the overall success of each job.

Key Responsibilities

·      Expertly operate excavators, skid-steers, loaders and other heavy equipment while overseeing daily project activities.

·      Organize and delegate tasks to the crew to ensure they understand the scope of work and meet company standards.

·      Perform daily expectation meetings and set the example safety, productivity and accountability

·      Ensure work is completed according to project plans and identify potential issues or changes to scope of work that could affect the project timeline.

·      Communicate daily updates to management regarding job progress, labor, equipment and material needs to avoid potential delays in the schedule.

·      Ability to read blueprints and understand grades and elevations.

·      Maintain accurate daily job notes, time records and other required field documentation.
